remove the Taggert family from their small ranch that O'Shea claims

they seem.

the moment he first sees her, Nate is intrigued by Elisa Taggert and
his growing feelings for her. As he gets to know her and learns more
about his new boss, he begins to realize that perhaps things aren't
what he and the other Devils were led to believe. However, Nate and
the other Devils are desperate for income and must complete the job
they were hired to do. Nate can not allow his feelings to distract
him.
Elisa
will do anything to protect her family and their home…even battle
five ex-soldiers. Yet despite her mistrust and dislike for anyone
working for O'Shea, she is enthralled by Nate. The southern
gentleman awakens feelings in her she never knew existed, and she
soon finds herself battling her attraction to him even as she
battles her enemy, Samuel O'Shea. As the battle of wills rages on,
Nate and Elisa uncover secrets that could cost Elisa everything she
hold dear and destroy the life she has always known.
Devils
on Horseback: Nate is a wonderful book and start to what
promises to be a great new series! I loved all of the characters of
this fast-paced western romance. Nate and the other Devils were
wonderful to read about. Nate grew up the son of the town drunk and
found solace in his friendship with the other Devils. He is willing
to do anything to protect and help these men he considers brothers
and it definitely comes across as he battles his feelings for Elisa
and his loyalty to his comrades. Nate's feelings for and
relationship with Elisa was fascinating to watch grow. The passion
and tension between them make for some very sensual and creative
love scenes that left me breathless. The action of the story was
captivating and I could not wait to see how everything would work
out. With twists and turns that caught me by surprise, Devils on
Horseback: Nate was a definite page-turner. I can hardly wait to
read the other books in this wonderful new series and look forward
to learning more about the Devils!
