Noelle Kramer thought she had
gotten over the young man who broke her heart years ago when he left
town. However, now that Thad McKaslin is back, she's not so sure.
An accident took Noelle’s sight, but her faith has strengthened her
and she is determined to remain independent. The return of the man
she once loved cannot change her plans. Losing him before deeply,
and she can't bear to face that pain again.
Leaving Noelle had hurt Thad
more than anyone could know. Along the way he lost his faith and his
dreams. He returns home determined to stay away from Noelle, but
fate has a way of intervening. Seeing the strong woman before him,
Thad knows that his feelings have not changed, and as the two spend
more time together, it becomes more difficult to deny what is and
has always been between them. But too much time has passed, too much
heartache and broken dreams. Both fear they will never find
happiness with each other again.
Homespun Bride is a
story that touched me deeply. Noelle and Thad are wonderful
characters whose story taught me about love, sacrifice, and
patience. Noelle, a strong woman of faith, is determined that she
won’t be a burden to those she loves. Her willingness to give up her
dreams for those around her nearly broke my heart. However, she
doesn’t realize that Thad’s dreams have always included her.
It was very moving to watch
this couple reconnect and learn to love and believe again. It
definitely makes one believe in the power of love and that love is
ever-lasting. They are a couple you can root for and hope find their
happily-ever-after.
With its wonderful
characters and touching story, Homespun Bride is a heartfelt
story. One to read over and over again. |
