Klondike Wedding is wonderful romance about two people finding love where and when they least expect it.

Genevieve Summerville has come to the Yukon full of dreams and hopes to start a new life as a bride. However, when she arrives, her intended is away in the gold fields chasing his own dreams of striking it rich. Despite the groom's absence, the wedding plans remain unchanged as Mountie veterinarian, Luke Hunter, stands in for the groom in a proxy wedding ceremony.

Luke isn't sure what he has gotten into by agreeing to stand in for his friend at the wedding to the beautiful Genevieve, but he is a man of his word, and the ceremony goes off without a hitch....that is until the judge who performed the ceremony collapses and passes away, but not before signing the marriage certificate listing Genevieve as the bride and Luke as the groom.

Luke and Genevieve suddenly find themselves legally married and quarantined along with the rest of the wedding party as the threat of a measles outbreak looms. But after another unexpected and suspicious death, Luke begins to wonder if it is not disease that the quarantined people need to fear, but each other. As Luke investigates his companions, unsure whom to trust, he struggles with his growing feelings for his new "bride"…a woman who is not really his, and one he knows nothing about.

Genevieve also struggles to understand her conflicted emotions as she finds herself attracted to one man, but promised to another. Both Luke and Genevieve are unsure of the future and what will happen when the "real" groom returns.

Klondike Wedding is a wonderful addition to Ms. Bridges' fabulous Klondike series. With wonderful characters and a touch of suspense, I was hooked from the first page as I waited to see what would happen next. The "accidental marriage" provided great conflict for both Luke and Genevieve, as did their forced proximity due to the quarantine. It was interesting to see how they worked through and dealt with their conflicting emotions and feelings toward each other and the marriage. They had a fascinating and sensual relationship based on mutual respect and attraction, which made me root for them as a couple, and left me looking forward to each of their encounters. The element of mystery also added to the story making it an intriguing read with interesting twists and turns. I can hardly wait to read more from Ms. Bridges.
