Once
Logan's memory kicks in, sparks start flying including the ones that
ignite desire. Caroline is certainly strong-willed and single-minded
but she's also beautiful and warm, passionate and generous and he
can't seem to help himself despite his worries about getting
involved with anyone, much less Caroline Kilpatrick. Once she
reveals the reason she needs his help, it just about brings him to
his knees. He may feel he's better off alone for all the bad luck he
brings to those he's loved, but its not going to prevent him going
into the notorious Black Shadow Canyon after ruthless gang members
who have plagued Caroline's family even if Caroline insists on
coming along.
As
they battle outlaws and face-down danger together, Caroline knows
she has to tell him the truth sooner rather than later. But when all
is revealed does this brave loner have the courage to accept the
risks of loss for the rewards of love. Because though she loves him,
she knows he must come to her because he wants her not because she
needs him.

story blooming with romance, burning with passion and ripping with
adventure. Caroline is a strong, smart and self-confident woman to
be reckoned with and a perfect match to go the distance with the
stubborn, protective but honorable man whose more lonely than loner.
How Logan comes to believe in himself through Caroline's belief in
him is almost as compelling as Caroline's realization that it's not
necessity that drives her to him but an unbinding love. With a
surprise at every turn, compelling characters and a sensuous love
story, this is one of those books I couldn't put down. A keeper.
